Central Park

Central Park is a gem of Masdar City, located beside the podium.

Location

Thanks to leading technology, design, and engineering, Central Park has a 4-Pearl community rating under the Estidama Community Rating System, as well as an Exemplar rating under the Estidama Public Realm Rating System.

Sustainability features include horizontal gardens, a tower that collects water vapor from the air, a falaj-style water system and other water features for visitors to enjoy, play equipment powered by human movement, and sustainability messages throughout the park encouraging children to learn while they play.

Visitors can also enjoy several food and beverage options, including Blackout Coffee.

Central Plaza

Location

A calming open space adjacent to the UAE Space Agency, this urban plaza incorporates topography and raised mounds to define community space. Light-colored materials and seats help make the area feel cooler and more comfortable in hot weather.

Eco Plaza

Location

Experience tranquility in our newly renovated Eco Plaza, where the soothing sounds of a serene fountain and shaded seating invite you to relax and unwind. Surrounded by lush greenery, this scenic oasis offers a peaceful escape in the heart of the city.

Masdar Park

Masdar Park, currently under redevelopment, will be one of the largest sporting destinations serving Masdar City. Set to reopen in late 2023, it will feature landscapes and greenery, nature and water play for kids, a new Pump Park, a football pitch, plazas, a prayer hall, and food and beverage options.
